4. Data Sharing

Strideful does not sell your personal data to any third-party services. However, we do share limited data with trusted service providers like Firebase and Sentry, which help us improve app functionality, deliver push notifications, and monitor app stability. These providers are only permitted to use the data for specific purposes that assist in enhancing your experience with the Strideful app and are not allowed to use it for their own marketing or sales activities.

5. Intended Audience

Strideful is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from anyone under the age of 18.

6. Data Storage and Security

User data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a Relational Database Service (RDS) located in the United States. Data in transit is protected using HTTPS to ensure secure communication between our services and users.
Access to the database is restricted to authorized personnel, specifically the developer or owner of the AWS account. Authentication and authorization are managed by AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring that only authorized users can access sensitive data.
Database backups are conducted automatically within AWS RDS every seven days to maintain data integrity and availability in case of any incidents.
We also use Metabase as a third-party service for data analysis and visualization. Access to Metabase is restricted to the same users who have access to the AWS account, ensuring consistent security measures across platforms.
All user data collected by Strideful is stored and processed within the United States. We do not transfer any user data across borders to other countries. By using the Strideful app, you agree that your data will remain within the United States and be subject to U.S. data protection laws.

7. Cookies and Tracking Activity

As a mobile application, we do not use cookies. However, we utilize tracking technologies to improve app performance, deliver push notifications, monitor stability, and gather metrics. Some data may also be cached locally on the user’s device to enhance the app’s speed and responsiveness.
